SmartSKN has plans to launch “AI skincare robots” in the US—a manufacturing innovation that creates personalized skincare poroducts—with $7 million in funding it just secured from LillyCover Korea, a K-beauty pioneer.

Take a look at the video below.

The $7 million deal grants SmartSKN exclusive rights to introduce AI-driven skincare robots to the U.S. market, “combining the best of K-beauty with cutting-edge AI skincare personalization,” the press release states.

SmartSKN developed three skincare lines using AI technology—and all are formulated with highly effective K-beauty plant-powered ingredients.

The three skincare lines are:

  • K-AI: a hyper-personalized product line created by using real-time data from an advanced AI skin analysis.
  • K-OWN: a customizable line where users can formulate their own products with guidance from SmartSKN’s AI through an interactive web platform.
  • K-PRO: an industry-first personalized range for professionals, enabling estheticians and dermatologists to co-create formulas with SmartSKN’s AI, to deliver highly personalized, supercharged Korean skincare to their clients.
Val Neicu, CEO of SmartSKN, comments, “These three lines represent a dramatic shift in the beauty industry. We’re not just creating products; we’re building a future where AI, personalization, and sustainability converge to empower consumers and skincare professionals alike.”

SmartSKN is a beauty tech company—combining AI diagnostics and robotic on demand manufacturing to create hyper-personalized products.

The company opened its first “AI SmartSKN Lab” in Beverly, Massachusettes, where visitors can book complimentary appointments for AI skin analyses. Guests witness AI-powered robots in action as they craft personalized skincare solutions tailored to individual needs.

SmartSKN also offers the Muilli AI Dermascope, an at-home skin analysis testing tool, shown above, that costs $399. Send the data to the lab, and you’ll receive personalized skin care formulas in the mail.
